Market Place Antique Restoration in Bideford provides sympathetic furniture and antique restoration, including French polishing, veneer repairs, carving, cabinet work, upholstery and traditional finishing.
Market Place Antique Restoration adjoins the Robeda workshop in Bideford and was established in 1984 by Martin Turner.
Services include French polishing, wood carving, veneer work, cabinet making, light metalwork repairs, wood turning, upholstery and wax finishes.
Restoration work is undertaken for private customers, trade clients and exhibitions, with advice available on the most appropriate approach for the sympathetic repair and conservation of treasured items.
A stock of reclaimed timbers is used where appropriate to repair or replace missing components, helping new work blend naturally with the original piece.
For larger items that are difficult to transport, home visits can be arranged to assess the work required.
